In a blustery contest at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium, Buxton fell to a daunting 6-0 defeat against Warrington Town with Isaac Buckley-Ricketts grabbing a hattrick.
The visitors got the goal early after in the 3rd minute Warrington seized the lead through Woods.
Buxton responded with a promising display as Brogan unleashed a strike in the 9th minute, testing Dan Atherton, the Warrington goalkeeper, who managed to make a crucial low save.
Despite Buxton's attempts to level the playing field, Warrington maintained their composure. Sam Osborne's effort in the 16th minute saw a curling shot narrowly miss the target, while Sam Minihan's strike just wide of the post in the 44th minute left Buxton 0-1 down at the break.
The second half brought more action, with Warrington doubling their lead in the 60th minute. Goalkeeper Joe Young denied Dec Walker from the corner before Tom Hannigan poked the ball into the net.
Buxton's hopes were further dashed as penalty shouts were dismissed, and Young, their goalkeeper, showcased exceptional saves to deny the Yellows from extending their advantage.
Warrington's dominance continued, with Buckley-Ricketts adding a third in the 77th minute after Sean Williams Rebona cross found the free head of Buckley-Ricketts
And Matt Grivosti added a fourth just a minute later drilling a shot into the far corner after he broke away at kickoff.
The late stages of the game witnessed a flurry of goals as Warrington struck twice in injury time.
Grivosti found Bohan Dixon with a cross, who knocked the ball across for Buckley-Ricketts who finished it off for 5-0.
And Buckley-Ricketts got a 6th and his hattrick with a finish from 20 yards into the bottom corner of the net.
A heavy 6-0 defeat at home for The Bucks after a big win last week against Chester next up they are back at home against Brackley Town on Saturday 27th January.
