Buxton loss 2-1 to Farsley Celtic with both teams ending the game with 10 men each after 2 red cards.
The visitors had 2 early chances both from Connor Branson. First forcing Max Dearnley to catch it and then a freekick that was easily caught as well.
Xander McBurnie linked up well with Sam Osborne who fired a shot narrowly over the bar.
In the 30th minute The Bucks got penalty with George Smith fouling Connor Kirby with a high foot and that gave Diego De Girolamo the opportunity from the spot. He stepped up and smashed it into the net sending the keeper the wrong way.
Farsley responded straight away hitting the bar from a chip and Connor Brown defended to clear the ball away from substitute Dylan Youmbi on the rebound.
And it was The Celts that hit back at The Bucks with 2 quick goals before halftime to give them the lead.
Youmbi yet again was involved after coming of the bench after a good bit of dribbling found Darren Stevenson who back heal flicked it into the goal for the equaliser.
And into the third minute of added time Ryan Watson added another after taken his time before placing his shot along the floor into the bottom corner just before the break.
Matters got worse for Buxton early in the second half with De Girolamo picking up his first red card in his Buxton Career for what the referee deemed to have been an elbow.
With Buxton doing all they could to get back into the game Osborne fired the ball over in the 67th minute.
An error by the linesman meant that substitute Jordan Burrow wasn’t able to get a shot off despite coming from the edge of the box and the linesman flagging early for Osborne rather that Burrow.
Kirby’s long range effort was the last of the game for The Bucks testing the keeper from distance.
But the drama wasn’t over yet as Brandon got a second yellow card for kicking the ball away and the game ended 10 men a piece.
