Substitute Diego De Girolamo grabbed a second half equaliser to make sure Buxton pick up a point against top of the league Kings Lynn.
The Bucks started strong with Tommy Elliott hitting the side netting after only 3 minutes in following a dribble through.
A lot of the early game was played in the middle of the park with not much in the way of chances for either side.
Warren Clarke used his pace to counter attack at the Kings Lynn defence and crossed it in to Elliott who’s volley was hit into the keeper hands.
The Linnets first shot on target came from a Joshua Barrett freekick which was unable to really test Theo Richardson in between the sticks.
Kings Lynn took the lead 5 minutes from time to give them the advantage at the break. A ball came over the top and fell to Aaron Cosgrove and he chipped his shot over Richardson.
Richardson was tested early on being forced in into 3 saves in the matter of minutes. The first he denied Gold Omotayo from close range. Then he forced the ball onto the post and out for a corner. The final an outstretched save to stop Omotayo’s free header.
Craig Elliott made 2 changes bringing on both De Girolamo and Jackson to boost the attack and despite the pressure from Kings Lynn Buxton got the equaliser. A passing move from a corner came to De Girolamo in the box and he smashed it into the net for 1-1.
The home side responded well with Barnett cutting in a curling his shot high and wide of the goal.
Buxton continued to search for the winner Kirby firing a shot from the edge of the box being tipped over from Blair in goal.
The Bucks extended their unbeaten run to 8 games and face Gloucester at home at the weekend .
