A goal feast shared by Max Conway,Connor Kirby, Brad Jackson and Tommy Elliott, interrupted only by an opposition penalty kick early in the second half, gave Buxton a 4-1 victory and all three points away to Bradford Park Avenue.
The Bucks started the game on the front foot with Conways pass to Sam Osborne in the box being cut out and shouts for a penalty as Brad Jackson’s ball to Joe Ackroyd led to the midfield going to ground but the referee waved it away.
Bradford Park Avenue had their best chance of the game on 16 minutes with a freekick being swung in and Jake Hull was there to head the ball away.
Jak McCourt then ran into space unleashing a rocketed effort that went narrowly wide of the goal.
Brad Dockerty had the first shot of the game for the hosts hitting a half volley wide of the mark following a freekick that came across the box.
Buxton continued to put pressure on late in the half as Jackson hit a long range attempt at the keeper who parries the ball before quickly collecting.
The Bucks took the lead just before half time, Conway dribbled well and cut inside and 20 yards out smashed the ball into the far corner.
Bradford Park Avenue came out from the break strong getting an equaliser from the penalty spot Tommy Elliott went into the book for a foul and Will Longbottom stepped up to make it 1-1.
Buxton had a quick response regaining the lead within 7 minutes Jackson played the cross to Kirby who’s diving header found its way into the net.
And they added another soon after Jackson smashing a shot from 25 yards out which was saved by Sykes-Kenworthy but looped over into the net for 3-1.
As Buxton continued to try and build off of 2 goals Kirby had an effort saved by the keeper from the centre of the box.
A ball came across to De Girolamo in the 84th minute who knocked it across to Elliott and he calmly found the 4th goal and final goal of the game.
