Buxton‘s unbeaten run continued after a star performance from midfielder Tommy Elliott grabbed 2 goals and 2 assists to win 4-0 and progress to the next round.
The Bucks started as they meant to go on with Elliott laying off a ball to Jamie Ward drived with pace towards goal and smashed it in the bottom left hand corner of the goal In the second minute of the game.
They almost doubled the lead minutes later with Diego De Girolamo firing over the bar in the box.
It wasn’t long though before they did grab there second of the game in the 14th minute after a ball from Richardson in goal went straight over the top in the middle and Elliott was there to round the keeper and finish it home.
Rushall‘s first chance of the game came from a long throw in which found the feet of Reid who stumbled over his feet to get a shot away however his shot just wasn’t powerful enough to test the Bucks keeper.
And the visitors only continued to pile the pressure on with Diego misplacing a pass which sent Cobourne through on goal and he rounded the keeper Middelton was strong however to defend and clear his lines.
Soon after Elliott was involved once again with a 1-2 pass with Diego and he put it into the back of the net but The linesman’s flag was up for offside.
There was another goal for Buxton just before half time with Elliott grabbing his second of the game for 3-0 as the Bucks won the ball back from a high press and Elliott finished off the move.
The Pics didn’t give up though and came out fighting in the second half with Parry hitting the post and it rolled all the way along the line in the opening minutes.
Buxton gained control of the ball passing it around nicely between them.
It took them until the 72 minutes before grabbing the goal for 4-0. Substitute Ash Chambers scored as his shot went off the post and in only minutes after being introduced.
Rushall continued to attack with Coyle having some bright chances off the bench with the best being a volley hit was heading towards goal but was blocked by teammate Whittle.
Buxton defended well to see out the game and win 4-0 to progress the team into the next round of the FA Cup.
