Local tie for The Bucks in The return to FA Cup Action

We are back at home as we face Alfreton in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday 17th September


The Bucks


The Bucks go into this game following the loss against Boston United on Tuesday night.


Leading up to the last game we made 2 changes with a further addition being added before this game.


The first being Zak Dearnley who joins us having previously being at Halifax Town last season. Dearnley is a forward who was in Manchester United Academy as a youth player.


Next up we have Luke Burke who joins us on a season long loan from AFC Fylde. Burke is a defender and has made over 100 appearances for The Coasters.


Last up this week we had Scott Boden who joins from York City.  Boden is an experienced striker having made over 400 career appearances and scoring over 100 goals.


Opposition


Alfreton sit 14th in the National League North on 10 points from 8 games.


Last game they lost 3-2 to Kings Lynn with Dom Smith and Bailey Hobson scoring.


The Reds lost at this stage last season to Cleethorpes Town.


The club finished 9th in the National league North last season.


They play their games at The Impact Arena.


Alfreton have made a new signing ahead of this game picking up Luke Ward from National League South Side Taunton Town .


One to Watch

Matt Rhead has over 350 league appearances most of which coming at Lincoln City as the Prolific forward scored 43 goals for The Imps.


Last time out

In 2018 a James Clifton Double for The Reds knocked The Bucks out of the quarter final of the Derbyshire senior cup.
