The Bucks go into this game after a 2-1 win over Southport at the weekend.
A double from Luke Brennan was the difference as The Bucks picked up all three points at the TSS.
Following the win manager John McGrath praised goalscorer Brennan saying:
"He just wants to get better. His positive attitude to training and match days is evident. It was an excellent performance today."
Brennan said: "Goals are what I do best. My thanks to the gaffer for making it possible, by giving me so much game time."
Midfielder Oliver Ewing has joined the club on loan for the remainder of the season from Leicester City. He has been a regular for Leicester’s under 21’s side and has also played for Wales at youth level.
Opposition
Chorley was founded originally in 1875 as a rugby union club but they moved over to football in 1883.
The club finished 4th in the National League North last season and lost to Brackley Town in the semi finals of the playoffs.
They play their games at Victory Park which has a capacity of 4300 which has 975 seats.
The club are nicknamed The Magpies.
Their manager is Andy Preece who took charge in 2022. As a player Preece played for Blackpool and Bury over 100 times.
Paul Mariner played for the club in this youth career before going onto win the FA Cup and UEFA CUP.
They have won the playoffs in this league back in 2019.
Chorley currently sit 8th in the league on 45 points after 27 games.
They are currently on an unbeaten run of 5 games but have had 4 draws in them.
In their last game they won 3-2 against Scarborough after coming from behind twice.
One to watch
Dubem Eze has been on fine form since joining on an initial one month loan from Bolton Wanders.
The midfielder came through the ranks at Chelsea, Derby and Norwich.
Last Time Out
This is the first time the sides have met this season following the postponement of this fixture at the beginning of the year.
Last time they faced it was a 3-1 win for The Bucks with goals from Diego De Girolamo, Luke Shiels and Max Hunt.
At this ground last season it was a 3-2 loss for Buxton with William Bapaga getting sent off.
