UP NEXT:

We are in league action again as we are on the road making the long journey to Kings Lynn on 19th October with a 3pm kickoff.

The Bucks

The Bucks go into this game after losing late on 2-1 to Hereford last week Connor Kirby getting the only goal for The Bucks.

Following the loss manager John McGrath said:

"It was the same old story. Loads of possession and shifting the ball around well, but we're being let down in the final third. There's no point in being pretty at the back and midfield if ultimately you don't have shots on target. The boys are disappointed, they're hurting.”

"They're working hard behind the scenes to put it right. and we're nearly there. There are plenty of positives and we're losing by the smallest of margins. The lads are a good group and they're looking forward to getting out there again, determined to earn points."

Buxton have made a signing this week with midfielder Cian Coleman coming in on an initial one month loan from Leeds United.

Opposition

Their manager is Adam Lakeland who used to manager Curzon Ashton and Farsley Celtic.

The club finished 18th in the league last season.

They are nicknamed The Linnets.

They play their games at The Walks that has a capacity of 8200 with 1200 seated.

They sit 7th in the league with 17 points after 10 games.

In their last game they lost late on against Curzon Ashton in the FA Cup.

The last league game they played they beat Darlington 2-1 with goals from Tom Hughes and Ross Crane.

One to watch

Gold Omotayo is a Swiss born forward who has bags of experience at this level.

Omotayo will be familiar to Buxton having played against them with Fylde and Kings Lynn previously in his first stint with The Linnets.

So far this season he has got 3 goals in 10 matches but is a threat in attack.

Last Time Out

A 2-2 draw at The Silverlands in January with Buxton coming back against 10 men and 2 goals down to salvage a point with goals from Diego De Girolamo and Max Brogan.

Around a similar time last year here it was a 3-1 victory to Buxton with Eoin McKeowns early goal cancelled out but De Girolamo scored and Scott Boden scored to get all 3 points.
