UP NEXT:
We are back in league action facing Curzon Ashton at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium on 5th October 2024 with a 3pm kickoff.
The Bucks
The Bucks go into this game after losing to Kidderminster in the third qualifying round after a replay.
Following the loss manager John McGrath said:
"We didn't take our first-half chances and gave away a sloppy goal. That was very disappointing because we were doing well. We went 2-0 down straight after the break and that was bad news.
"Our young lads have to learn quickly from this kind of game, but there are loads of positives. I'm looking forward to the rest of the league campaign with so many points at stake, starting with a game against Curzon Ashton. We've got players coming back to fitness, which is a big bonus."
Opposition
Their manager is Craig Mahon who was appointed a year ago this week.
The club finished 7th in the league last season and qualified for the playoffs and were beaten by Chorley on penalties in the quarter finals.
They are nicknamed The Nash.
They play their games at the Tameside stadium which has a capacity of 3000 and was opened by Sir Alex Ferguson in 2005.
They sit 3rd in the league after 17 points from the first 9 games.
In their last game they beat Southport 1-0 in the FA Cup with Isaac Buckley-Ricketts scoring the only goal to progress them through to the fourth qualifying round.
