NATIONAL LEAGUE NORTH PREVIEW: BUXTON TRAVEL TO CHESTER

UP NEXT:

We are in league action again and on the road again making the journey to Chester for a Tuesday night game on 22nd October with a 19:45pm kickoff.

The Bucks

The Bucks go into this game after losing  2-0 to Kings Lynn away from home at the weekend.

Following the loss manager John McGrath said:

"On the day we weren't good enough," is how team manager John McGrath summed up the defeat. He said: "No excuses. We started brightly but switched off for their two goalsand we were chasing the game after that. Our few chances were not taken. You've got to win the moments in games.

"We are looking at making the squad stronger. Our youthful group needs more guidance on the field. That will help us stop the slide. Tuesday night away to Chester will be tough and we have to turn in a hard-working performance, eradicating mistakes."

Opposition

Their manager is Callum McIntyre who was appointed in 2022 after impressing as an academy coach for the club.
