NEWS: Ex-Everton winger joins Galdiators

Steve Kittrick has added to his Matlock side with the addition of former Everton wide man Danny Bramall.

Bramall impressed whilst on trial after coming off the bench twice against Loughborough Dynamo and Lincoln United.

Sheffield born, Bramall was part of the youth set up at Chesterfield until the age of 14 when Everton snapped him up.

Bramall was offered a professional contract at Goodison Park in 2017 but only made appearances for the second team. Bramall was released in the summer despite being offered a new deal in 2018.

At 20-years-old Bramall will hope to get more minutes under his belt after only playing U23's football. Bramall offers pace and skill from wide areas and down the middle alongside another new signing, Piteu Crouz.

Bramall also appeared as a trialist for fellow Derbyshire side Chesterfield during pre season against Staveley Miners Welfare but failed to earn a deal.

The new season is yet to start for the Gladiators but Bramall will hope he can settle and get himself ready for the visit of Bamber Bridge on Saturday. Steve Kittrick is still looking to add to his despite the new additions.
