Matlock come to the Tarmac Silverlands stadium in the first of 7 preseason games
to fight for the Markovitz challenge cup.

New manager Jamie Vermiglio takes charge for the first time as he prepares for our National league North campaign.
The Bucks have made 4 new signings with Shaun Brisley, Jack McKay, Declan Poole and Jake Moult all signing on for the 22/23 season.
As well as that the loans of both Sean Newton and James Hardy have been made permanent following their involvements in winning the NPL last season.
Opposition
Matlock finished last season in 4th place in the NPL losing to Scarborough in the playoffs.
The Gladiators have added ex Bucks midfielder Simon Lenighan to their squad after being at Radcliffe last season.
They have also signed Jim Pollard in between the sticks and both Aaron Opoku and Jake Daly for attacking options.

I’m sure all Bucks fans remember the last time these 2 sides faced as in April Dan Cowan’s goal all but sealed the title in a 1-0 win!
