Preview Bucks take on Lancaster

Up next The Bucks are back at home as they face Lancaster City at The Tarmac Silverlands Stadium on 2nd April for a 3pm kickoff.

We go into this game after a 3-0 win away against Witton Albion.


Goals from Cowan, Clarke and De Girolamo got us the three points as we continue our fight toward promotion staying 2 points clear at the top.


Manager Steve Cunningham is looking for revenge against Lancaster


“We owe them a performance and a result as when we went there it was my first loss. We want to avenge that one. They are a tough top team who have had a bit of a resurgence as well. But we will go into it like they are up there fighting for the title.”


Opposition

Lancaster City sit 10th in the league currently on 55 points.


The Blues have been on great form and are unbeaten in their last 5 games winning the last 4.


Mark Fell has been in charge of Lancaster since 2018 after previously managing Ramsbottom United.


They play their games at The Giant Axe Stadium and will be without the suspended Liam Brockbank in this game.


In their last game they beat Nantwich 1-0 thanks to a Jack Bryne goal.



One to watch

Andrew Teague captain of Lancaster is strong in the heart of their defence and has made 150 appearances for the club . He has been a big part in the visitors 4 clean sheets in their last 5 games.


Last time out

The Dolly Blues won 1-0 at The Giant Axe in November with a Lewis Fensome goal being the difference on the day.
