Preview : Bucks travel to Bishop Stortford

UP NEXT:

We are back on the road in the first of 2 long away days in the next week as we face Bishop Stortford on 4th November 2023.

The Bucks

The Bucks go into this game following a 2-1 victory on Tuesday against league leaders Tamworth.

Following the win manager Craig Elliott said:

"Fortunately, Tamworth missed a first-half penalty, then Diego set us on the road to victory. We had to pull together and grind out this one, with substitutes coming on to make their contributions.

It was tight. We’ll play better, but we did all that was needed against a really good team.

“Players are coming back from injury and we need to get them fully fit so we can build on what is now a play-offs position. Our next two games, away to Bishop’s Stortford and South Shields, involve long journeys.

They’ll be difficult games for different reasons but we’ll be ready for these new challenges.”

Diego De Girolamo got his 100th goal for The Bucks before Connor Kirby scored after his penalty was saved.
