Buxton start the 2021/22 season with a match at home at the Silverlands stadium as they face Bamber Bridge.

Bamber Bridge is a football club based near Preston in Lancashire.
The football club nicknamed Brig, play their games at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium.
Bamber Bridge were founded in 1974 after they merged with Walton-le Dale.
The Brigs' best ever performance in the league was back in 1995-96 in which they won the NPL Premier Division. They had many playoffs before reaching the the Premier final losing to Ramsbottom United in 2013-14, Darlington 1883 in the next season before finally earing promotion with a win against Prescot Cables in 2017-18.

Buxton made it 8 wins from 8 as they defeated neighbours Leek Town 3-1 last week.
A convincing preseason from the Bucks ended as Milnes, Chambers and Hurst scored.

Bamber Bridge lost their last game of preseason with a 3-0 loss against AFC Fylde. Apart from this Bamber Bridge picked up 2 wins a draw and a loss with one of the wins being a big 7-1 victory over Longridge away.
Player to watch
Forward Ryan White was a graduate at Bolton Wanderers youth academy. This is his second spell at the club after having some time away. He is a fast paced winger who can also play up front and also used to play for fellow NPL team FC United of Manchester.
Last time out
Buxton came out 2-1 winners in October 2020 with goals from Diego De Girolamo and Dawson.
