The Bucks are at home as they face Kings Lynn on 13th January 2024.

The Bucks

The Bucks go into this game following their

2-0 loss to top of the league Tamworth last week.

Following the loss manger Craig Elliott said:

"We had the ball for long periods in the first half and defended their set pieces well, so I thought we were in a good position, maybe to go on and win.

The stats are positive but it's all about what you do in both boxes and we haven't been good enough in those areas. We've conceded too easily and are not creating enough. But the lads gave everything against the league leaders.

"I take full responsibility for our losses. I need to find the answers and I will. We'll work hard in two training sessions this week, aiming to give a good performance against King's Lynn."

Opposition

In their most recent game they lost 1-0 to Darlington.

They currently sit 21st in the league with 26 points from 27 games.

Their manager is Adam Lakeland who joined from Curzon Ashton earlier on in the season.

The club finished 2nd  in the National League and lost in the playoffs to Kidderminster.

The club are nicknamed the Linnets.

They play their games at the Walks which holds 8200.

They have made 2 signings this week following the news of investment from Singapore.

The first was former Cambridge United defender Greg Taylor. And he has been promoted from both the National League and League 2 with his previous club that he spent 10 years at.

Dylan Crowe is a 22 year old right sided defender that signed for the club from Torquay.

They have also sold a player this week with Adam Crowther leaving to Southend.

One to Watch

Bartoz Cybalski joined in the summer following his release from Derby County.

The striker is 6ft 5 and has been on loan at Fylde, Solihull and Matlock.

He has scored 7 goals for Kings Lynn so far this season

Last time out

The Bucks were 3-1 winners in October with goals from McKeown, De Girolamo and a late Boden goal sealing all 3 points.

Buxton drew 1-1 in February at The Tamac Silverlands with The Linnets with De Girolamo getting the equaliser after they went behind in the first half.
