The Bucks
The Bucks go into this game following the
2-2 draw against Kings Lynn at the weekend.
Despite being 2-0 down at the break The Bucks fought back against ten men to get a point with goals from De Girolamo and Brogan.
Following the draw manager Craig Elliott said:
"No excuses first half, but there was heart and courage in the second period and we were unlucky not to grab the winner. After the break, the lads did everything I asked, with their commitment and workrate. We moved the ball around really well.
"I enjoyed watching us play in the second half and I hope our fans felt the same. We've got a lot of positives to take with us to Chester in midweek, where we will be the underdogs, but hungry for a good result."
Opposition
Chester 9th in the league on 42 points after 26 games only 1 point off of playoffs.
The club finished 3rd in the league last season losing to Brackley in the playoffs.
They beat Gloucester at the weekend 3-0 with goals from Murray,Peers and Glendon.
They have one of the best home records in the league having only lost 1 game this season.
They play their games at The Deva Stadium.
They are nicknamed The Seals.
One to Watch
Tom Peers return to the club on an 18 month contract in October.
The striker, who was in Chesters youth system has also played for Curzon Ashton and Macclesfield recently.
Last Time Out
It wasn’t to be for The Bucks as their playoff dreams went away on the last day of last season in a 4-0 loss.
