Preview Buxton travel to Kettering in bid to reach the FA Cup first round

Buxton look to progress to the first round of the FA Cup for the first time since 1962!

Buxton’s last results

The Bucks are on a 4 game winning streak as they continue the unbeaten run with a 3-1 against Basford in midweek. A superb Granite header and a double from Jamie Ward as they showed real intent to win the game after going behind after 2 minutes.

Ex players

Both Lindon Meikle and Ben Milnes return to face their former club in the cup.

When Bucks director David Brindley asked about the return Meikle said ‘I’m looking forward to returning to a place full of such positive memories within my football career. The fans, staff, management & chairman treated me very well, I built some good relationships at Latimer Park. So it will be a pleasure to catch up and see everyone again.’

Ben Milnes explained how he will be happy to see familiar faces but stated how he’s loyalties are now with Buxton and getting the win. "It should be good to see some familiar faces but the Bucks will be doing everything possible to come out on top. It will be a tough game against a well-organised team and we know it's a big challenge. We've worked hard to get ready."
