The Opposition
Alan Devonshire’s side are without a win in six in the National League. Their last victory came on the 30th January away at Halifax Town when they beat the Shaymen 3-2. Since then they have lost three and drawn three. The Magpies sit 15th in the table and a win could see them climb two places to 13th.
One-To-Watch
Danilo Orsi-Dadomo- The forward is joint top scorer on 9 with Sam Barratt (who could see a return from injury on Saturday against the Spireites). Orsi-Dadomo began his senior career at East Thurrock United before moving to Hungerford Town where he formed part of the team that kept them in the National League South. The 24-year-old went on to represent Hampton & Richmond Borough where he scored 15 goals in 36 appearances before joining Maidenhead United in the Summer.
Previous Meetings
Chesterfield have visited York Road twice and have picked up just one point. Both times the Magpies have visited the Technique Stadium they have taken home all the points, including earlier this season when Sam Barratt's brace cancelled out Scott Boden’s opener meaning the Spireites lost 2-1.
Team News
Curtis Weston will miss the game due to picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Yeovil Town on Saturday.
James Rowe revealed that Joe Rowley is nearly back to full fitness but won’t be ready in time for the game against the Magpies. It is likely he will be available for Tuesday night’s clash against Sutton.
Rowe’s Thoughts
“Maidenhead aren’t on a great run, but they haven’t really played at home. We know what the conditions are going to be like.
"It's a different type of challenge tomorrow, they propose different threats but we will be fully prepared to go there and try and get all three points."
