Chesterfield welcome Brackley Town to the Technique Stadium in the third round of the FA Trophy.

The Opposition
Brackley Town play one level below the Spireites in the National League North. They’re currently 9th in the league, just out of the play offs on goal difference. They face the Spireites after beating Royston 3-2 in midweek.

Ashley Chambers- The 30-year-old came through the ranks at Leicester City and made his first time debut at the age of 15. He went on to make five more appearances for the Foxes before spending time out on loan at Wycombe Wanderers, Grimsby Town and York City before joining the Minstermen on a permanent basis. Chambers made 95 appearances for York and spent time at Cambridge United, Dagenham Redbridge, Grimsby Town, Nuneaton Town and Kidderminster Harriers before joining Brackley Town this year.
Previous Meetings
The two sides have met before in the FA Trophy. The National League North outfit came out on top and produced a dominant display over John Sheridan’s Chesterfield in February 2019. Lee Ndlovu and James Armson scored two goals of the game.

James Rowe told the press that David Buchanan is ‘fine’ and available for selection.
Rowe’s Thoughts
"We are ahead of where we want to be, but its is going to be a tough run of fixtures ahead of us. That starts tomorrow in the one-off trophy game.
"They ran Tranmere close on TV a few weeks ago. We know the danger of them, but we will be ready."
