PREVIEW: Spireites look to secure back-to-back wins over Solihull

Chesterfield travel to the West Midlands to face the same team they beat 1-0 at the Technique Stadium just three days previous.

The game will played behind closed doors however supporters are able purchase a stream provided by Solihull Moors FC.

The Opposition

Jimmy Shan’s side sit 17th in the National League, once place behind the Spireites but on the same number of points. A win for either side could see them rise as high as 8th in the table.

One-To-Watch

Joe Sbarra- The Lichfield-born midfielder started his career in the academy at West Bromwich Albion before moving to Burton Albion where he signed first team forms in 2017. Sbarra made his debut at the age of 18 and went on to make 49 appearances for the Brewers, scoring once. He was loaned out to the Moors last season and made six appearances before joining on a permanent basis ahead of this season.

Team News

Akwasi Asante’s Thoughts

This week the Spireites’ number nine spoke to the press ahead of the clash against his former club.

"They're a good team (Solihull Moors), tomorrow might be a bit of a different game as they're at home, we will see. I enjoyed my time there, it was the start of my professional career really. I have nothing but happy memories at Solihull.

"I'm enjoying my football, that's the most important thing. Scoring goals and not conceding, you can't ask for much more. I'm loving my time here so far."
