The Opposition

Weymouth sit 20th in the National League on 27 points.

The Terras come into the game on the back of an emphatic win over Wealdstone. On Saturday they beat they won 4-0 with goals from Josh McQuoid, Brennan Camp and a brace from Sean Shields. They also claimed victory over Stockport a few weeks ago at the Bob Lucas Stadium. However they have failed to win in their last six games away from home.

Sean Shields- For the majority of his lengthy career, Shields has plied his trade in non-league. He started his career in the youth set-up at Tottenham Hotspur before moving to Isthmian League team Potters Bar. The winger represented a number of clubs before signing for League Two club (at the time) Dagenham and Redbridge where he went on to make 13 appearances, spending the rest of his time out on loan. Previous Meetings

The only time the two sides have met was earlier on this season in what was James Rowe’s first game in charge of the Spireites. Sean Shields opened the scoring with a great effort from outside the box however the Spireites came from behind to claim all three points with goals from Akwasi Asante and Tom Denton.


Team News

James Rowe told the press that Joel Taylor is back in contention however Jak McCourt isn’t ready yet. He also described Jack Clarke as being 50/50.

"We're both full of confidence. They've scored goals and kept clean sheets recently. As soon as we got on the coach on Saturday I was thinking about Weymouth and how we're going to win. It will be a good game and I'm looking forward to it."
