Chesterfield are involved in another play-off crunch clash when they take on Bromley.
Despite producing an impressive performance at Wrexham on Saturday the Spirietes couldn’t find a way through and are now going for their first win in five as they look to climb back into the play-off places.
The Opposition
The Ravens are in excellent form having recorded four successive victories against Dagenham & Redbridge, Woking, Chesterfield and Halifax Town. They also drew their two previous games against Stockport County and Wealdstone.
This recent run of form has catapulted Andy Woodman’s side up to 6th in the National League, two points ahead of the Spireites.
One-To-Watch
Michael Cheek- The National League’s top scorer needs no introduction. He’s got 22 goals so far this season, one of which was the opener at the Technique Stadium ten days ago.
Previous Meetings
Last time out Bromley went home with all three points after goals from Cheek and Joe Kizzi. After numerous chances Laurence Maguire got town back on level terms before Kizzi’s late header proved to be the matchwinner. James Rowe was disgruntled with the refereeing decisions and felt his side had two ‘stonewall’ penalties which weren’t awarded.
Team News
Jak McCourt will look to get back into the side after returning to full training last week.
Weston’s Thoughts
“We want to win the game. If it goes our way, you are looking at a different table so it’s massive.
“We made some individual errors over those two games that we lost. We’ve looked at those and we’ll go into it with a game plan. I think it will be a different game.”
