The Bucks make the short journey to Curzon Ashton at 3pm on Saturday 7th January.

The Bucks go into this game following the 0-0 draw against Alfreton on New Year’s Day.


A much improved performance from Boxing Day Buxton will look to build on this against Curzon.


Opposition


Their manager is Adam Lakeland who got appointed in October 2021. He won promotion to the National League North with Farsley  Celtic.


The club finished 14th in the league last season and are nicknamed The Nash.


They play their games at the Tameside stadium which has a capacity of 3000 and was opened by Sir Alex Ferguson in 2005.


They sit 24th in the league with 1 win in there last 10 games.


One to Watch

Benni Smales-Braithwaite is a striker on loan from Barrow.


He has 2 goals so far for The Nash and was in Manchester City and Southamptons youth teams.



Last time out


A Diego De Girolamo penalty was the difference when the 2 sides met in the second game of the season.


Before that You have to go back to 2015 to find the last time we played Curzon in which we drew 0-0 in the NPL Premier Division.
