Buxton picked up a point at home to Kings Lynn with the visitors being reduce down to ten men and leading 2-0 at  half time.

Kings Lynn took the lead in the 7th minute after a flick out wide was crossed into the box and found the incoming Ben Stephens to smash into the near post.

Captain Josh Granite headed the ball over from a corner looking to find the equaliser straight away.

Connor Brown shot from the edge of the box sailed over the bar before Sam Osborne had a deflected effort behind and a header into the side netting.

Goalscorer Stephens was dismissed and the visitors reduced down to ten men following his rash lunge on Max Brogan.

Despite being down to ten men Kings Lynn won a penalty just before half time with Kirby being judged to have taken down Davenport. Rodger’s stepped up and dispatched it to make it 2-0 at the break.

Buxton went with a change of shape in the second half bringing on Diego De Girolamo and Tommy Elliott and opting for a 3 at the back formation.

Substitute George Morrison tried his luck and his shot went narrowly wide of the post with the first chance of the second half.

The home side had a couple of penalty shouts waved away and on the third time of asking Brown was brought down just inside the box and they got a penalty! De Girolamo stepped up and scored to half the deficit.

Only 5 minutes later The Bucks had found the equaliser, Brogan netting his first goal for the club with a low strike into the far corner.

Buxton continued to put pressure on a through ball over the top to Jake Wright who came close and De Girolamo shot went over the bar.

And they almost completed the comeback when in the last minute when Osbornes low driven shot was cleared off the line by Greg Taylor.
