Six Derbyshire teams in FA Cup First Qualifying Round draw

Six Derbyshire teams were in the hat for the Emirates FA Cup First Qualifying Round draw, which took place at 1pm today.

Belper and Staveley, who beat Lincoln United and Lutterworth Town to reach the third stage of the competition, will travel to Romulus and Basford United on Saturday 8th.

Glossop will visit either Droylsden or Squires Gate, but still need to beat City of Liverpool in their Preliminary Round replay after a 1-1 draw at the TDP Solicitors Stadium on Saturday.

Entering the FA Cup at this stage are Matlock, Buxton and Mickleover, of whom Buxton made the furthest progression last season, being just one win away from the First Round Proper.

The Bucks were handed a trip to Barwell, whilst Matlock and Mickleover were dealt home ties against Halesowen Town and Haughmond or Market Drayton Town.
