BORROWASH VICTORIA AFC VS BARROW TOWN FC
Barrow Town come into the game on high spirits getting their first win of the season last week at home to Radford after losing 6 games on the bounce. Despite this they still sit at the bottom of the table.
However The Riversiders don't enjoy their travels conceding 22 goals in three away games and only scoring once in one of the games.
The Vics are also in positive spirits after a string of improving performances under new management which is hopefully an insight of exciting things to come in the future.
One change to the Borrowash Victoria squad from the draw away at Shirebrook as Adam Morley misses out due to injury.
Managers thoughts via Adam Jones and Rory Downs;
“We are looking forward to another massive game for the club in a run of matches we feel as a team we can gain points from. After a positive result vs Shirebrook last Saturday we were a bit gutted not to take all three points but gives us a good platform to build off.”
“You can see the progression throughout the squad as the players are understanding what the management requires to compete at this level and for the vast majority of last weeks game we dominated so will look to continue in the same manner.”
“The squad is in good spirits and we will do everything we can to get three points against Barrow.”
Players thoughts via Callum Clarke;
“Buzzing for a game like this where three points is a must, especially after drawing last week in a game we deserved to win! It’s a busy period in which we’re looking to push on and really excel as a squad! The spirit is really high and everyone’s massively up and ready for this game!”
