Young midfielder makes move to League Two side

Charlie Carter has moved to Stevenage for an undisclosed fee just a year after joining Chesterfield.

The 22-year-old moved to the Proact Stadium last summer after he was brought from Woking for a nominal fee.

Unfortunately, the midfielder was hampered with a injury hit season, only making 20 National League appearances.

Carter scored four goals in that time with two of those coming against Aldershot Town back in his home debut.

The deal includes a 'significant sell on fee' for the Spireites if the League Two side decide to sell the former Woking academy product.
