BREAKING: Spireites part company with Pemberton

Chesterfield Football Club have announced that John Pemberton has left the club by mutual consent.


In an interview on the club website, Chairman Mike Goodwin said that "it was agreed a change in manager would be in the best interests of the club.


"Unfortunately results have not gone as we all expected this season, leading to a change in manager being required.


The Chairman wanted to put on record his thanks to John, for his "hard work, honesty and integrity'.


Mr Goodwin added that the search for a new manager is now underway.
