Bucks fall to defeat for the first time in 16 games

Ashley Hemings goal early on was the difference as The Bucks fell to their first defeat in 16 games.

It took 36 seconds for Kidderminster to take the lead through Hemmings driving into space and curling the ball into the net.

Kidderminster continued to put pressure on after the early with Kystian Pearce heading over the bar from a freekick from Joe Leesley.

Amari Morgan-Smith nodded the ball across to Hemmings in the 21st minute and his attempted acrobatic effort went over the bar.

Buxton’s best chance of the half so far came from Brad Jackson cutting the ball in and getting his shot just to high and wide of the mark.

Jackson then turned creator looking to pick out Sam Osborne with a dipped cross that went just over his head as The Bucks headed into the break behind.

The Bucks started the second half with a lot of the ball but were not able to create to many clear cut chances.

Jackson got the ball into the head of Diego De Girolamo that went just over the bar with The best chance of the game so far for Buxton.

Kiddiminster almost added a second through Leesley. His teed up shot from 18 yards hit the bar before bouncing away from danger.

Despite the late push from The Bucks sending men up they couldn’t find the goal to get back in the game as the unbeaten run came to an end.
