Sam Osbornes goal wasn’t enough as goals from Jimmy Spencer and Kian Scales meant Farsley picked up all 3 points.
The Bucks started bright with Tommy Elliott picking up a ball from Tom Allan and Andy Butler recovering well to get rid of the opening.
Farsley responded to the chance well with Lewis Butroid looping a ball over the top top Spencer and him hitting it over the bar.
Frank Mulhern then ran through on goal and took the ball past Theo Richardson but was unable to get his shot off.
Penalty shouts were waved away as Osborne played Joe Ackroyd in goal with Ackroyd getting taken out in the process.
The hosts took the lead in the 34th min. A counter attack had Scales and Mulhern linking up with Scales slotting it into the net for 1-0.
Buxton were denied another penalty with the referee adjudging the foul to have been made outside the box.
Farsley doubled their lead just before half time Spencer winning a header from a corner to make it 2-0 before the break.
Isaac Assenso header was deflected onto the bar and over as a fast opening start from Farsley.
The rest of the half was all Buxton though with a corner ball being inswung in and hitting the bar on the 60th minute.
And The Bucks did get a goal back with Osborne firing home from a corner ball that was headed over to him.
Despite Buxton’s late pressure they just couldn’t get the equaliser with Elliott having a shot come close in the late stages of the game.
