A Brad Jackson and Osborne goal meant that the Bucks picked up an all important win on the road against Blyth.
The hosts got the opening chance of the game. New signing Sam Hodgson got the ball after a long ball over the top and tried to get it across to Cedric Main who he couldn’t quite find in space on the far side.
Buxton responded well with Joe Ackroyd sliding in to win the ball off Alex Mitchell and get it across to Tommy Elliott who’s shot cannoned onto the bar and back into the hands of the keeper.
Jordan Hickey whipped a great ball into the box on the 27th minute to a looping header from Toby Lees that went just onto the roof of the net.
Osborne added his second goal in as many games as Buxton took the lead in the 36th minute with a low driven shot into the bottom right hand corner .
On the other end of the pitch Josh Granite put in a great block to deny Hodgson to make sure The Bucks went into the break ahead.
A cagey opening few minutes saw both Hickey and Kirby go into the referees book for fouls .
Buxton doubled the lead in the 57th minute Elliott dribbled forward and found Brad Jackson running into the box who composed himself before adding the second of the game.
Blyth almost had one back with Will McGowen finding himself in space and hitting his shot over the bar.
Seeing the keeper off of his line Jackson attempted a dinked ball that had just too much power behind going over.
The Bucks added a third and final goal late on securing the 3 points. Osborne gave the ball to Elliott who yet again found Jackson to finish it off.
