Matlock Town have appointed former Lincoln United, Spalding and Gainsborough boss Dave Frecklington as their new manager.
Ex-gaffer Dave Hoole resigned on Monday night following the Gladiators' 6-0 thrashing by Basford United, which left them second bottom in the Northern Premier League Premier Division table after six games.
Fecklington, uncle of Lincoln City midfielder Lee Frecklington, spent his playing career in the non-league for the likes of Lincoln United, Spalding United and Grantham Town among others, before beginning his managerial career as assistant to Simon Clark at Stamford and Worksop Town.
He eventually moved back to Lincoln United where he became Whites boss, before moving on to Spalding United and Gainsborough Trinity.
Along with Frecklington arrive duo assistants in ex-professional Terry Fleming and former Spalding boss Chris Rawlinson.
Frecklington takes on his first challenge as Gladiators number one when they welcome top-of-the-table South Shields to Causeway Lane.
